How does chair massage work?

Each session starts in softness and ends with gentle activation.
The treatment flows in two phases: relaxation and stimulation.

Relaxation

The relaxing part begins with pressure points on:

  • The shoulders

  • The neck

  • The base of the skull

Then the arms, hands and fingers are treated, followed by the upper and middle back.
This allows tension to melt away and the body to shift into a deeper breathing rhythm.

Stimulation

In the final part the body is gently reactivated:

  • Light tapping on the back and shoulders

  • Stimulation of the scalp

  • Awakening the energy

So you return to work not sleepy, but refreshed, alert and grounded.

Every chair massage is unique.
Although there is a structure, I always adapt the session to what the body needs in that moment.
No two massages are ever the same.

Preventive chair massage

Preventive chair massage is focused on long-term wellbeing.
I visit your company regularly, usually:

  • Weekly

  • Or biweekly

Employees receive their massage according to:

  • A fixed schedule

  • Or via a registration list

This creates continuity and lasting impact.

Optional additions:

  • Workplace ergonomics advice

  • Posture guidance

  • Simple home exercises

  • Awareness around stress and body signals

Every three months a short evaluation can be provided.
At least twice a year we reflect together on progress and needs.

Location

I work fully on location.
Chair massage can be offered:

  • At the workplace (weekly, biweekly or monthly)

  • At trade fairs

  • At corporate events

  • During team days

  • At company celebrations

Everything is mobile and easy to set up. A quiet corner is sufficient.

Chair massage is not a luxury.
It is a moment of return to the body.
A reminder that balance is the foundation of sustainable performance.

What is Chair Massage?

Chair massage is a short, powerful and deeply relaxing treatment that works on the areas where tension builds up most:
the neck, shoulders, back, arms, hands and head.

The massage is given on a specially designed ergonomic chair and is performed over clothing, without oil and without the need to change. In about 15 to 20 minutes the body is gently invited out of “doing mode” and back into a state of balance and clarity.

After a session people often feel:

  • More relaxed

  • Clear in the head

  • Energised

  • Grounded and present

A small pause, with a big effect.

Why chair massage is so effective

Long hours of sitting, working behind a screen, high mental load and a fast-paced lifestyle reduce blood circulation and cause tension in muscles.
Especially the neck and shoulder area is sensitive to stress and static posture.

Chair massage:

  • Relaxes tight muscles

  • Stimulates blood flow

  • Calms the nervous system

  • Supports natural recovery

It works both preventively and therapeutically, helping the body restore itself before complaints become chronic.
